I'm currently running a T1 4200 AGP 128 MB on an AMD 2800 on a system with 1
GB of memory (dual DDR.) I was wondering what the performance difference was
between a 128 bit and 256 bit Radeon 9800 pro.
Any thoughts? Looks like the 9800 Pro 128 bit/128MB is going for $140, the
9800 Pro 256 bit/128 MB is going for $204 (pricewatch.)
I finished HL2 & D3 - loved them both but will be taking some vacation over
the holidays and figured why replay them using my crummy pos old card. I
lean heavily towards HL2 so I'm going with Radeon over nVidia. I expect to
be playing HL2, CS, and - I pray for TF2 nighly.
