Perflib_perfdata_xxx.dat file won't delete

This Windows Temp file should be deleted automatically
each time Windows closes but it does not. It cannot be
deleted either, other that "by and automated logon
script". How do I do this?

Hey Bernard,

You've got my interest, I've got a load too, and I haven't yet established a
pattern to them.

They are all 16K, some days I'v got 5 or 6 created at 3 minute intervals,
some days, I dont have any ?

However I can delete them manually, do you get an error if you try to do
this?

I've tried to find some info on the web, but so far nothing relevant.

Just out of interest, have you ever run bootvis on your system, I was
wondering if it was anything to do with some registry flag getting left set
on.
