Percentage of total records

BillD

In the detail section of the report I have a text box that has a control
source as "Total Of ID" for a voting Poll. In the footer section I have a
text box with control source "=Sum([Total Of ID])" How can I get a text box
to show a "Total Of ID" in the Detail Section as a percentage Of the Total of
all the polls. Ex. Not working "Total Of ID/Sum([Total Of ID])*100"
Any help greatly appreciated.

Bill,
This question was answered in the microsoft.public.access newsgroup, and
I see that it was answered successfully.

If you must post a question to more than one newsgroup, please include
all those groups in one post.
ex. microsoft.public.access; microsoft.public.reports

That way, if anyone answers you in one group, it will be seen in all
groups the question was posted to.
..
This is to prevent people working on a problem in one group that has
already been solved in another.
Thanks,

If I have to post to more than one group in the future, how do you include
more than One group in a post?
Thanks

Bill,
This line in my previous post shows what would be in the Newsgroup
argument of a "multi-post" question...
microsoft.public.access; microsoft.public.reports
If that string was in the Newsgroup field of your email, your post would
appear on the .access newsgroup, and the .reports newsgroup. If I replied
to your .access post, it would show in the .report newsgroup too. (and vice
versa)

Access newsgroups are very active, so specific and well stated questions
should/may get a reply within 24 hours. If no one responds within a day or
two, and you want to start a new post on the same question... you can go to
your original post, respond to it yourself, and indicate that your posting
the question again... to this or another newsgroup. That will prevent
duplication of responder effort.

Hope that helps...
