Pentium D 820 to E6600 upgrade

I consider upgrading my processor from D820 to E6600. How much improvement
(percent) I would see?

Not in a percent wise, but it would be a noticeable increase in speed.
Those Core2Duo's are speed demons!

Nobody can really give you an estimate for this. There are too many
variables involved like the Motherboard make and model, etc. Your best
source of information would be the motherboard manufacturers website.
