Peer to Peer networking VS> Server-Client Networking

I have a client that has approximately 20 computers in a peer to peer
network. They have some minor connection problems every once in a while that
I assume is due to the number of computers in the peer to peer network.
We've suggested that the change to a Server-Client netwrok, but they are very
skeptical. We've explained the problems they are having are due to the fact
that a peer to peer network does not support more then ten computers. My
question is where can I find documentation that proves this is the case?
Thanks in advance for your help!

There is no explanation needed. Its a fact. It's hard coded into MS OSs.
Nothing you can do about it. What's to explain :)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it is not a 10 computer limit but a limit
of 10 simultaneous incoming connections. Trouble may be experienced at any
time regardless of the number of computers. You could conceiveably have 20
computers and never see the problem if there are never 10 connections to
one computer resource.
