PDIHWCTL service failed, EventID: 7000, Source: Service Control Manager Eventlog Provider

Any ideas on what to do about the following? It appears ever reboot on my
Vista x64 Ultimate box.

EventID: 7000

The PDIHWCTL service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
