If PDF is electronic paper, then pdftk is an electronic
staple-remover, hole-punch, binder, secret-decoder-ring, and
X-Ray-glasses. Pdftk is a simple tool for doing everyday things
with PDF documents. Keep one in the top drawer of your desktop
and use it to:

Merge PDF Documents
Split PDF Pages into a New Document
Decrypt Input as Necessary (Password Required)
Encrypt Output as Desired
[new!] Fill PDF Forms with FDF Data and/or Flatten Forms
[new!] Apply a Background Watermark
Report on PDF Metrics, including Metadata and Bookmarks
[new!] Update PDF Metadata
[new!] Attach Files to PDF Pages or the PDF Document
[new!] Unpack PDF Attachments
Burst a PDF Document into Single Pages
Uncompress and Re-Compress Page Streams
Repair Corrupted PDF (Where Possible)
</clip>

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen

Thanks, Bjorn! I hadn't been checking for updates for this one.

OK, then I can thank the people running <http://lists.gpick.com/> for
brining the update to my attention, and the folks at news.grc.com for
feeding them new links and updates all the time :)

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen
