PDFs in ACCESS?

Can you have a PDF form loaded into an Access application? We are a
government agency that has 259 federal forms that are PDFs that we need to
capture the information entered into the fields on those forms. We have Adobe
and were wondering if the 2 are compatible some how?

Ginger,

I do not believe this is possible. I THINK a pdf is similiar to jpeg in
that it is just a picture (with more functionality). I did a quick search of
the net and found some conversion programs to convert the PDF to a text file
(maybe you can find one to convert to Excel).

Now in saying that, are you looking to save exisiting information that is
contained in the PDF or have a form for users to fill in and have that
information saved in Access?

If you are looking to save information a user enters you could always make
JPEG of your form (you could even just scan a copy of the form if you need
to) and use that as a background on a form. After that just put in text
boxes where the user needs to enter information.

I have no experience but according to the documentation of Acrobat vs. 7
you may create a CSV spreadsheet from filled-in PDF Forms, and this
spreadsheet you can import into Access
