How do I get to window preferences for the internet and where is the browser
setting for starting acrobat option to display PDF in browser? When I go to
a www .pdf file I always get a note saying...could not find acrobat external
window handler. Please help (this is acrobat 6.0 and windows xp)

Launch Internet Explorer and from its Toolbar select:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and place a check
next to "Enable third-party browser extensions" and
click Apply.

If the above suggestion does not work, uninstall your
Adobe Reader, then download and reinstall it.

Open Adobe Acrobat Reader and click Edit, Preferences. Choose Internet in the Preferences window. Uncheck Display PDF in browser option and close the dialog. Repeat the same and this time, enable the Display PDF in browser option.
