PDF files not showing

I have a hyperlink to a pdf file saved on my computer. When you click on the
link a browser window that has the correct address appears but the window is
blank and does not show the pdf file. Anyone know how to correct this?

Assuming you're clicking a link in your "published" web, you need to import the PDF into
your web, link to it, and then publish.

The PDF needs to be on the same server as your web.

They are on the same web. If I do a ctrl+click I see then perfectly when in
frontpage, but when I view in browser I only see its address and a blank
browser window.

Do you have the latest 7.2 version of Adobe Reader installed? If not,
