PC's going into Standy but should be disabled?

We have a number of Dell computers with Windows XP
Professional. The users don't want any screen savers or
power saving features enabled. I went into the Display
Properties to the "power" button. I changed all the
settings to "never", unchecked the "prompt for password"
box, and unchecked "enable hibernation" box. However the
display still goes black and when they return to the
computer they get the message saying "this computer is in
use and has been locked - only username or and
administrator can unlock". When they log back in it has
closed their network software they use. How can I disable
this power saving/computer locking?

You didn't turn off the password protect on screen savers.
Right click desktop, properties, screen saver tab, uncheck: on resume
password protect(or on resume display the welcome screen).
