PCI Compliance Test

Hi all,

running PCI Compliance Test on Intel's D865Perl Motherboard, I always get
the error message:


== > FAIL: 4.63.18 - The Secondary Bus Reset bit in the Bridge Control
Register must be read/write.

I tried Bios updates, other signed drivers, etc etc.... no way, error
persists :(

Has anyone an idea to complete this test???
Who has had the same error message, what have you done???

Hi Marcus, for Win XP submissions you should be able to request a
Contingency ID for this error. Contact whqlsys at Microsoft.com.

This contingency ID number (taken from Intel's submission for the
865GLC) is 610. Here is the exact error:

77C.780 : +TEST+SEV2 : FAIL: 4.63.18 - The Secondary Bus Reset bit
in the Bridge Control Register must be read/write.

It shows as an acceptible contingency per Intel's report on
http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/whql.htm
