Pchealth subfolder in the Windows directory

I have a user at work that her C: drive was suddenly full. She rarely
installs anything and I knew that something was up.

I noticed a PCHealth folder in the windows directory that had 7+ gigs. I
found a bunch of dump files in C:\WINDOWS\pchealth\ERRORREP\UserDumps It was
doing this every 5 or 10 seconds until the C drive was pretty much full.

Now I see some website claimnig that pchealth is a worm. On MS`s site it
claims that it is a Windows ME feature (ugh ME).

Anyhow, is this folder a virus/worm? Should I try removing this folder? What
can I do to make sure this folder/program does not continue to make a bunch
of dump files and clutter up the C drive?

I am running Windows XP SP2 with all the updates done.

TIA!!

A pchealth folder in that location is a legitimate Windows folder.

Something is causing the dump files to be written. Thus, you need to
investigate to find the reason for the files.
While the subject folder is present on all XP installations, one will very
seldom find dump files there (or anywhere else for that matter).
