I have a user at work that her C: drive was suddenly full. She rarely
installs anything and I knew that something was up.
I noticed a PCHealth folder in the windows directory that had 7+ gigs. I
found a bunch of dump files in C:\WINDOWS\pchealth\ERRORREP\UserDumps It was
doing this every 5 or 10 seconds until the C drive was pretty much full.
Now I see some website claimnig that pchealth is a worm. On MS`s site it
claims that it is a Windows ME feature (ugh ME).
Anyhow, is this folder a virus/worm? Should I try removing this folder? What
can I do to make sure this folder/program does not continue to make a bunch
of dump files and clutter up the C drive?
I am running Windows XP SP2 with all the updates done.
TIA!!
