Hey all,

I have 2 extra sticks of ram both sdram 32mb, I want to add to my pc only if
they are pc133. How do I know if they are pc100 or pc133, ive had a look on
both sticks and one of them says 4m x 64 sdram 13 the other says nothing, Is
there a test I can do to find the speed?

TIA

Ellis.

Hi,

Download Aida32 here: http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32 If you
put the memory in your PC, Aida should tell you what it is (and pretty much
everything else about your computer!)

Great program, quick question, it says video BIOS is two years out of date,
is this the BIOS in the video card, and is it worth updating if an update
exists.

Now I just need to figure out where from, the card I have is a Creative
something or other and the Creative site doesn't turn up much when I do a
search for the keyword BIOS.

TBH, if your video card is working OK, I would leave it alone.

yah, a firmware foul-up can leave you with a dead card which isn't worth
it IMHO if the card is already working fine! :)
