I'm using two PC, one is desktop with Xp Pro sys and other is IBM note-book with 2000. I have bought a "PCI" 4 ports Router and connected two PC into Lan1 and Lan2 respectively. ASDL moden connected to WAN port. Two PC also can access to internal

I would like to share two PC for each others via this connection, now, only desktop (Xp sys) can access the note-book after installtion of "home or small office networking" onto desktop side.

However, at note-book side, it can see desktop icon, wjen I access it, then a error workgroup window to said
[ \\Stephaine is not accessible. There are currently no logon servers avaiable to service the lohon request.

Would like to know where have the problem, in desktop or netobkk

How can fix it

Thanks

Make sure you have Sharing turned on, both computers.
