Remote Desktop clients always receive PC-Speaker output
nicely and reliably. But when they disconnect, the
beeping does not emit from the embedded PCs builtin
speaker. The hardware is fine-- Embedded NT 4 and Win98
OSes operate the speaker just fine-- it's really an XPe
thing.

Hello Eric,

Believe it or not, I bet this is a missing component. Add the component
"beep driver", rebuild, and re-deploy. See if anything changes. HTH,
