My PC is starting to get slow.
This may be caused by unnecessary processes running from my ram.
Is there any free program which checks the processes running and identifies the ones that are not needed and can delete them?

I use Ccleaner which shows the programs on startup, but these are other programs that I do not know of.

Eg. AVEngine.exe, PNmSrv.exe, MsPMSPSv.exe and several svchost.exe.

Any ideas.....?

Cheers

You got Panda antivirus? The first two are that. The last one is something to do with a WMP update.

svchost.exe is a number of things MS related but can also be bad. Have you done the usual pc housekeeping? Run AV scanner, online and in house. Anti Spyware etc? Defrag? Uninstalled unused crap?

Yes. Delete all cookies, cache, temporary files etc..
Uninstalled everything I do not need.

Will try a defrag.... Not done that yet!
