PC restarting on shutdown

Hi,

My PC's shutting down just fine but as soon as the power gets cut, it
comes straight back on again. I now have to wait at the mains power
supply for it to shut down and turn it off manually before it restarts.
I replaced the PSU and it worked for a bit, but now it's doing the same
thing. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

If the power gets cut, Windows is not running and cannot restart the
computer (cold reboot). Therefore, this is a hardware/firmware issue
most likely. Just in case that there is a "warm reboot" instead, see
if this article applies: "Windows XP restarts unexpectedly or restarts
when you shut down the computer"

Enter the BIOS setup and check if any "Wake-up on..." events have been
enabled. If this is not the case, take the computer to a technician.
