Hello

How to implement a Disaster Recovery in Windows 2000

I would like to install a service, where the User simply presses one button to recover his complete OS (possible with other programms)

Server is Windows 2000, Clients Windows 2000 too

Any Help would be appreciated

Buy a copy of DriveImage professional, use it to
create an image of your installation, then wrap it
up so that the user can invoke a complete image
restoration it via a desktop icon. It's often done
on course training machines.

DriveImage and Ghost are two competing products, Acronis
TrueImage is a third. Note that some are purely for manual
operation (i.e. requiring user intervention) whereas others
can be automated. If you want to automate the restoration
process then you must practise on a spare disk, because
the automatic process will go wrong a few times until you
get it just right.

Great Help, much appreciated

Looks like Acronis is the best (on a quick look

it supports aswell a one button recovery while start up without using a bootable media.
