PC freeze

When I use Windows Movie Maker to capture video, my CPU is at 100 % and the
fan of my notebook is always running and after 5 minutes, my PC freeze and I
have to reboot it.
My PC freeze also sometimes when I use EZ antivirus and Lavasoft Ad-Aware. I
noticed that with these applications, the CPU is high and the fan is working
much.
I hava a Notebook 2.4 GHz and 512 MB of RAM.
I have ordered a notebook cooler but it will arrive in about 2 weeks.
Can you help ?

Hi Jacques,

Freezing with those symptoms is often an indicator that a piece of hardware
is beginning to fail. The cooler may help to forestall it, but eventually it
will still fail. Your best option is to take it to a qualified technician,
as the longer you run it, the more damage it may do.
