PC doesn't detect/recognise Vodafone Mobile Connect Card?

Hello

My XP SP2 laptop suddenly no longer detects my Vodafone PCMCIA Mobile
Connection card. It suddenly stopped working. I suspected a problem with
the card so I installed on another computer and it worked fine.

I have uninstalled the drivers for the card and re-installed - but my laptop
just doesn't seem to detect the card.

Any ideas as to what I should be looking at? Updating?

Updating to SP2 might have hit the Permissions on the card.

Default Permissions for Shared Folders Is Read-Only Access for Everyone:

I am having this same problem. Plug and Play detects the card and attempts
to install it then tells me there may be a problem. Lists it in the Device
Manager with a lovely little yellow tag (GRRRR!). Tried updating the driver
but no luck.

Cany anyone help?
