I am using windows xp home. gateway computer. the pc-doctor diagnostics
program only shows a splash screen and then will not run. how do I fix
this please?

You should take a few minutes and learn how to use the installed utilitys
that come with xp and run them yourself...Give that 3rd party junk the deep
six, they only try to perform minor mntce operations, most probably wont run
in xp SP2.If you must stoop to that level, try reinstalling.

Make sure your version of PC Doctor is compatible with Windows XP.
Uninstall, reboot then reinstall PC Doctor.
Check the PC Doctor website for support on their product.

Gateway, HP, Dell and many other OEM manufacturers are paid by software
companies to install trial versions or add supported versions of dubious
software on their computers. It is not done to add value for you the end
user but so they can offer cheaper prices. PC-Doctor is one of these
programs of dubious value.

thank you. I am trying to find out why it quit working when it was
working last week and not this week and I have had it over three years.
