PC crashed on me.

Everything was okey & Bam-the system just crashed. I thought a possible
external power failure-was not. Tried to reboot, would not-no power to
tower. Un-pluged power cord & reconnected it. No power to tower. Replaced
cord from surge protector to tower & rebooted.
Went on line updated all ad/spyware to current. Updated AVG 7 and ran
it-clean, Ran AdAware-clean, Ran CWShredder-clean, Ran MSantispy-Clean, Ran
Spybot S&D-system crashed.
Replaced power cord to tower & rebooted. Checked c:disk and it was ok,
defraged while there. Same for E:disk.
Shutdown & rebooted & ran Spybot again and once again the system crashed.
Can someone help with this? Thanks.

It is time to run diagnostics on your hardware, but first, back up the
important files on your hard drive.
Second, open the computer case and look for dust buildup and whether all
fans are spinning.
Third, download and run Everest Home Edition to find out about the operating
temperatures in your system:

Fourth, run the online hard disk checker Seatools:
http://www.seagate.com/support/seatools/
Fifth, download and run Memtest86 to check your RAM:
http://www.memtest86.com/
Sixth, test your CPU with the Mersenne CPU tester. It is part of a worldwide
search for prime numbers, but works fine to test a CPU:

Seventh, is your Power Supply running excessively hot or full of dust?
