Hi all,

I try to import data from Excel to my contact, but it doesn't work as
espected ....

Some cell aren't imported there's no reason ....

my original file (Excel) was about 1200 line so I reduce it to 200 Line

but the Pb is still here

ex:

in the line there is

Name firstName tel fax mobile user1 user2 user3 user4
profession etc....

for some lines all cell are imported and for other some cell are loosed in
importation

I repeat in one file 10 time the same line (copy / paste) and the result is
the same, some cell in these line are missed

Tks for Help

Do any of the cells contain text with multiple lines? Carriage returns and
line breaks are frequent contributors to import errors when working with
Excel.

Is there a solution ?

The Note field, which goes in the message body, can properly handle and
display multiple lines of text. For other fields, I suspect it may
truncate
the data or not process it at all.

It's really difficult to determine which data is causing the problem without
the actual data in my hands. Could you e-mail it to me so that I can have a
look?

An alternative would be to import the data using VBA, and then you will have
full control.
