PAUSE GC

How can I pause/stop GC and resume/start GC during the life cycle of
my .NET applicaton/service?
 
GC is not a service you can stop and start in 2000/2003. Longhorn AD will
be a service, not sure if this will fit your needs but you can check this
out.
