Pause a web page?

After loading the asp.net/vb.net page, I need a certain button on the page
to be disabled for about three seconds. Then it gets enabled. How would I do
this?

You could use a JavaScript timer to refresh the page every so often:

Dart has a really nice AJAX-based timer control, but it may be overkill for
your situation.

You could use javascript's setTimeout method to set a timer for 3 seconds
and the method it fires then enables your button. Call the setTimeout from
the Body OnLoad.
