Hi
I'm just in the process of formatting my brothers patriot 3070 laptop
(cheap £250.00 pc world job). It comes with no system disk or XP disk
of any kind!
I have a standard XP Cd already that I'm using but notice that the 40
Gig harddrive is only formatted at 33 Gig and windows XP setup sees a
hidden 6 Gig partition.
I assume this is some kind of restore system? How do I access it for
future reference?
Tried all the F keys and the bios but no joy. Theres also no mention
in the PDF manual.
Tempted to just make my own restore DVD tommorrow and remove the
partition totally. Any reason why I shouldn't?
