Path Variables in McAfee VirusScan 7 Exclusions

I'm not sure if I'm using the right terms.

I'd like to make a custom VirusScan 7 install package with McAfee
Installation Designer 7. I want to include some exclusions, but some users
have W2K or WXP installed in C:\Windows, some have it in C:\WinNT.

Can I use a variable in the exclusion to cover both?
Like "%system%\system32\spool\*.*"

I've seen it somewhere for some other purpose, but I can't remember where,
and my searches have come up blank.

Thanks,

The %windir% environment variable should cover these two
variations.

I think the %system% environment variable covers both of
the "system" and "system32" locations, but it doesn't show
up on my system when I type the "set" command in a dos
window, so I can't confirm that it even exists.

(using Win98 only here)

You can use the set command to create any environment variables
needed for your setup.
