"PATH" system variable overwritten

I mistakenly overwrote the value of the system
variable "PATH" on my computer which is running Microsoft
XP professional, media edition. I did this by following
the sequence: My Computer/View System
Information/Advanced/Environmental Variables/Path/Edit. I
need to find out what the original value for "PATH" was.
Can anyone help me?

Hi

If it was the system path you deleted, this is the "virgin" value for a new
computer (not media edition):

%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\WBEM

Have you tried system restore? I don't know if it will
help, but it cannot hurt.

You can copy the full paths once restored and past them
into a file in notepad for later reference.

%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\WBEM
and anything further you might want
