XP System %PATH% badly modified/deleted by application installer,...

Hi,

after installing a application i found out, that i cant
use my cmd.exe to spawn commands and other
command line tools. My first look was directed
to the Systrems %PATH% Variable which was
empty! Yes, it was really empty. The last installed
application deleted it completely for whatever
reason. I placed new entries like to my Windows
Folder, e.g. C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32;
so that i can start some commands at least.

So my question: Which paths have to be inside
a "standard" %PATH% varibale for the System?
I dont have a system restore point, so i have to
set the values by hand and can not recover from
the last installation session,...

What has to be inside a standard System %PATH%
variable,...

TIA

Regards

Kerem

Here is a typical WinXP path:
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;
