Patches Crash Computer in Windows XP Home

Hello-
My Windows XP Home machine began to crash unexpectedly at random
intervals (usually within the hour, sometimes longer). I had turned off
system restore and I couldnt figure out the problem so I reformatted the
whole computer. I installed SP1 and started installing Office and other
things and everything was stable. The next day I installed the remaining
windows patches and upon reboot my computer started exhibiting the smae
problems. I used system restore to rollback the machine and everything
returned to normal. I didnt install any patches for 2 weeks and the
computer has been absolutely rock solid. This evening I tried installing
the remaining patches again and upon reboot my computer crashed before
I could log in.
I narrowed it down to the patches on Windows Update. I had a problem
with the Q811493 doing the same thing (crashing the computer). I havnt
been able to find anyone complaining about any patches so I dont know
which one to uninstall.

I'm having a similar problem. I'm running XP Pro Sp1 and
when I install the Rollout KB826939 I have problems with
the computer crashing. Most of the time it freezes if I
try to right click on something to select from the right-
click menu. If I uninstall this update everything is back
to normal.
