Hello all, When I try to install the Hotfix patch KB823980
in my computer which is Windows XP 32 bit version, I get
the following error.

KB823980 setup error.

"setup couldn't verify the integrity of the file
update.inf. Make sure the cryptographic service is running
on this computer."

I had looked upont he cryptographic service and found that
it was running too. How could I install this patch so that
my computer be safe from the vulnerability? Pls help.
