Pasting into Word

We're getting fuzzy images when we paste (fully grouped) PowerPoint graphics
into Word documents. We use "Paste Special" and "Picture (Windows Metafile)"
and then format using "In line with text." This all works, but the resulting
graphics are fuzzy. (Changing them to jpeg images doesn't make them any
clearer.)Any suggestions?
