Pasting from Website into Word 2007

When I copy and paste an article from any website into Word 2007, portions of
the article (usually the first 2 or 3 letters of each line) are invisible.
It's frustrating. If I backspace at the beginning of every line, then hit the
space bar a few times, the print becomes visible, but that's very time
consuming.
This does not happen in Word 2003, only in Word 2007.

Have you tried pasting as "Unformatted Text" (via Home tab | Paste | Paste
Special)? That way you avoid getting a lot of garbage when pasting from the
web.
