pasting Excel graph in PPT

I am at my wits' end!!

I need to copy a graph that I have created in Excel into a PPT presentation.
The graph moderately transfers well into PPT. I still have to change font
size and such, only because I have to scale down the size of the graph.

My biggest problem is when I paste the graph into PPT the fill patterns
change! When I double-click on the chart to edit the graph in Excel, the
fill pattern is exactly as I had selected. The graph prints properly from
Excel, but looks very different in PPT. I've even tried moving the chart
into a new Excel workbook and inserting it as an object into PPT, but again,
the fill patterns change.

Please, help!
