Pasting Excel cells as "Picture (Enhanced Metafile)"

Hello

I need to paste cells from Excel into Word as "Picture (Enhanced Metafile)"
(I need to do this over 100 times). Every time I do this, the resulting
picture's top left corner ends up violating the top left margin of the Word
document (even though my cursor was located at the top left corner of the
page when I did the pasting). I then have to both move and resize this
picture. Is there any way to either

a) automatically resize the picture so it has the largest possible size
without violating any of the page margins (and not being distorted)

OR

b) if (a) above is not possible, at least move the picture so that its top
left corner is at the top left corner (as defined by the margins set for the
page) of the page?

It sounds as if you want your pictures to be In Line With Text. Although
Word 2002 and 2003 allow you to select the default wrapping for inserted and
pasted graphics, this setting doesn't apply to Paste Special, which still
pastes with (IIRC) Square wrapping. But changing the wrapping to In Line
With Text should put the graphic back where you want it.

Hello Sam,

You might have a corrupted normal.dot that is not honoring the page margins.
Try renaming your normal.dot (rename to avoid losing customization made to
normal.dot), open a new copy of word (this will create a new normal.dot) and
attempt your copy and paste again. If this does not work, try pasting into
pre-sized text boxes.

Sam,

I frequently paste content from other applications into Word documents,
including Excel cells, and have found creating a one-cell table works best as
a container for paste special, picture (enhanced metafile). If the image is
too big for the margins, the boundaries of the cell restrain the image and
Word automatically resizes the image.
