Pasting Error

Hi,

I'm trying to copy data from one column of one table to another column in
another table. I've made sure that both the columns have the same field
size/type, etc..

Only 12 out of my 263 records won't paste- and I am getting an error that
says "could not update, currently locked." Does anyone know how I can get
around this and paste my data successfully?

Copying and Pasting in Access is pretty flakely. Your best bet is to do an
update query where the two tables are joined. If you were moving entire
records, an append query would work.
