Pasting Document

Don

I am trying to apply for a job online and it requires me
to paste my resume to the employers job application which
is online. I cannot get my resume from Word to paste to
the application online. What am I doing wrong?

G"Day Don,

You don't give us the "mechanical" details of EXACTLY
what YOU have done.

Have You:
Opened Resume in Word
Selected All
Copied
:
Focussed to Browser
Focussed to Text Box
Pasted
??

Let us know!

See Pat's reply, but bear in mind that the form will almost certainly
require only the text part of your resume. Tables, pictures and all the
other guff that finds its way into résumé's will screw things up. It might
be worth saving your resume as TXT first.

How do I focus to browser? Thank you for the help. What I
did was to drag the resume(.doc) to the resume box on the
open window on the website. When I released the button,
it filled the entire window with my resume and at the
same time closed the open window.I have posted my resume
to other websites that give you e mail to paste to
without a problem. It is only with this website paste
that is driving me nuts. Don Neubert.
