Paste text sans formatting / defeat FP table height

I'd like to over-ride some automatic features of FrontPage that cause me a lot of extra work.

1) Pasting without the format. I often make a copy of an existing page and paste in new text around the existing formatting. If I type text into the page, it takes the formatting of the element. However, if I copy and paste text from, say, MS Word, it takes carries the original formatting (or non formatting) with it so that every paste looks something like:
Former New Heading Heading
when what I want is
Former New Heading Heading
My current solution is to first paste everything into a text editor, then copy and paste it from there again but that's a lot of extra work. Is there some way to paste "plain text" even if it's got formatting information on the clipboard? Can I copy it originally w/o the formatting?

2) Avoiding height and width being added to table cells. When I want a table or cell to have a height or width, I add it via the "properties" boxes. However, I am totally frustrated with FrontPage automatically adding these properties just because I happen to "touch" the table/cell boundaries while editing the page. Can I turn off this automatic GUI feature of FrontPage? I'm tired of continually having to remove these properties that I don't want.

3) Also is there an FAQ for FrontPage issues?

Thanks for any help you can give.

{ Yup, that's what the rest of us do, use NotePad }

{ You could try, Edit, Paste Special for a menu of choices for pasting }

{ No, just get into the habit of not clicking on the edges of tables. Or
press the "Undo" button right away if you see it has happened. Also, I
noticed a HUGE difference when I switched to an Optical Mouse, the ability
to control the mouse cursor is much better with them. }

I'm tired of continually having to remove these properties that I don't
want.

3) Also is there an FAQ for FrontPage issues?

{ Probably the best place to start is search this newsgroup archives, try
here:

http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=microsoft.public.frontpage.client Click the box for "only this group" and start
searching.
