Paste text in new Microsoft Word doc, but it pastes photo icon

I want to Paste text in new Microsoft Word doc, but it pastes small red
square photo icon.
 
Where did you get the text you want to paste in? Sometimes, "text" on the
internet or in e-mails is really a picture rather than text.

Try using Edit - Paste Special - Unformatted Text and see if that works. If
the Unformatted Text option is not available, you might not have real text on
your clipboard.
