"paste special" only offers option to paste as "slide"

The "paste special" option only has one option - to paste as "slide". There
should be a whole list of options in the "paste special" window.

If you're in Slide Sorter view, the only thing you *can* paste is slides, so
that'll be the only item listed.

Try switching to Normal view instead.

Next question then: Is the focus on the preview/slide miniature pane or on
the main slide view? If you click on the slide itself, then do the paste
special you should see other options.

If you click in the outline, notes or thumbnails pane, it's something like
switching views - thumbnail view, for example, can't hold anything but slides so
that's all you're allowed to paste there.
