Hopefully a simple question: how do I password protect
access to my Outlook account through XP. Ideally I am
looking at changing my password, but for the life of me I
cannot remember how to do it.
Any help, gratefully appreciated...
With thanks

Since you are using Windows XP, you really don't need to password
protect your .pst file. It should, by default, be stored under your
%userprofile% path to which only you have permissions to read and write
those files. However, there are ways to circumvent permissions, like
moving the disk to another machine running a different instance of
Windows NT/2000/XP or doing a parallel install in the same machine.
To password protect your .pst file, enable its password option. Just do
a search in Outlook's own included help on "password" and read the
article titled "Change the password for your .pst file". You will have
to specify your password everytime you first open your .pst file (i.e.,
everytime you start Outlook).
