Password

I have a .pst folder that is setup to ask for a password upon opening,
however it only asks for the password once each time outlook is opened. Is
there any way I can set it up to ask for a password either after a specific
period of time, or each time I open the folder?
 
I figured that was the case but I wasnt sure. Thank you both for your help.

No, as long as its open the password is in effect. You'd have to close the
pst (remove from the profile) to re-protect it while outlook is open.
