Password

Hi!
How can I set a password to a Word documment.

To set a password to open a document:

- In Word 2007, click the Office button | Prepare | Encrypt Document.

- In Word 2003, click Tools | Options, Security tab.

You don't mention which version of Word you have.
For 2003 and prior - Tools, Protect Document.
For 2007 - Several different level check out the Help article for Password.

In the File>SaveAs dialog, use the Tools pulldown and select the General
Options item and in the General Options dialog, you can set a password to
Open or a password to Modify the document.
