Password

I want my application to have a little dialog box that pops up to ask for a
user name and password before the application is opened. Does anyone know how
to create this?

You can set a password for the database as follows:

1. Open Access.
2. Open the database exclusively from the File Open dialogue.
3. Select the Tools | Security | Set Database Password menu item.

This sets a password only, and does not require a user name to be entered.
For that you can implement Access user and group security, which gives far
greater control but is considerably more complex. If you want to go down
