PassWord????

Wayne M

I have re-installed Office XP on my PC after I had a disk
failure and now cannot seem to get my Outlook account to
work. I have spoken to my ISP who insists this is a
Microsoft issue and all of my POP3 and SMTP settings are
correct.
For some reason Outlook will not accept or recognize my
password. I can not run a succesful "Test Settings" nor
can I sned or recieve e-amils in Outlook itself. I spoke
to Microsoft and of course they want my credit card number
for any info they provide. They did tell me I could e-
mail them the problem and they would get back to me via e-
mail? And the person on the other end of the phone
couldn't understand when I told them that was a stupid
comment. Go figure?
Has anyone had this problem before? How do I get Outlook
to recognize my password and accept my account. Keep in
mind this worked fine up to about a week ago and does not
work at all. HELP!!!

Okay, this is what I have learned ... make certain that
your user name (just on top of your password) matches
exactly to to your e-mail name i.e. user name is ABC and e-
mail is (e-mail address removed) .. this should solve your
problems ...it did mine (also rememebr it is case
sensative)
Good luck,

I tried that and it didn't work either for me. I don't
know if it's because I'm on a wireless sever. It's still
doing the same thing. Password comes up eveytime I send
or receive emails.
