Have just upgraded from 98 to Home edition XP and it will
not store ISP passowrds in any shape or form, reverts to
unknown password every time even though all information
entered is correct - any help greatly appreciated,

entered is correct - any help greatly appreciated,

XP always displays 16 asterisks for a dial-up Internet password,
regardless of the password's actual length. If that's what you're
seeing, try connecting. It should work.
