Password required after rebooting

I have just reformatted and reinstalled Win XP
Professional and now a password is required every time I
reboot or shut down then boot up again.

I've tried using the options under run > control
userpasswords2 > and I've also tried using the options
available under tweakui. Neither seems to work. All I
have to do is just go "enter" and a password is not
required, but my husband is decidedly not high tech and
he is not going to remember that so is going to be all
over the house in a panic, thinking he can't access the
computer, which happens to be his, because it's asking
for a password. Anyhow, it's an annoyance since I can't
just reboot anymore and walk away, then come back with
the computer ready to go. Instead, I have to stay here
until the reboot is completed and I'm fully online. Any
other suggestions?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Set a password on the account..
Then use TweakUI to set the AutoLogon feature - entering the password you
just created.

If it REALLY bothers you, make it something your husband cannot forget.
