Password Protection for Design Mode

Need help with password protection:

I will be distributing a presentation in the Kiosk Mode, restricting the
viewer to end or navigate without using the menu within the presentation. I
need to prevent a user from going into the design mode.

So what I think I’m looking for is: Can a presentation be set to start in
the Kiosk (slide show) Mode. By setting a password to prevent modifying
(which is good) does not stop the viewer from viewing (read only) my builds.

I have used Macros so the Package for CD-PPT Viewer process will not be used.

Many thanks for the assistance I’ve received on this forum.

I can't think of a way to totally prevent someone from opening the file in
PPT, but you can have the file open in show mode by giving it a PPS
extension (or File|Save As and choose PPS from the "as type" drop-down).
Most users won't bother to open the file in normal editing mode then, but
they could if they wanted to. So you may want to add that password anyway to
discourage most people from messing with the file, too.
