Password protecting files burnt on CD?

What is the easiest way to Password protect files burnt on CD? I use the
password feature of XP to protect the files on my notebook. How can I do
something similar for the files that I backup to CD?
 
Make a zip folder, open it , click on file, choose Add a
Password. Each life then asks for a password before it can
be opened.
